As part of the Shire of Campaspe Recreation Reserve upgrade strategies, the Kyabram Recreation Reserve has been allocated funding to investigate the potential infrastructure upgrades to meet existing and future user group demand. The Shire of Campaspe appointed HEC to undertake a full site feature survey and complete conceptual and preliminary design services related to the potential Kyabram Recreation Reserve Upgrade Works. The project included the review of the existing Council Master Plan and investigation of the potential upgrade works by preparing conceptual design layout of all sporting infrastructure and proposed traffic management solutions including vehicular access and carparking within the reserve. These works continue to include liaison with the Shire of Campaspe and related user groups regarding potential works. All conceptual designs were in accordance with Victoria State Governments Community Sporting Facilities guidelines.
All works were in accordance with Council prepared Master plans and included the following;
Feature & Level Survey of the site
Service investigation and service Master Plan including liaison with service authorities to establish location and extent of existing services and determine potential upgrades that may be necessary to meet objectives of the Master Plan.
Conceptual design documentation for nine multi-purpose hardstand courts including all required drainage infrastructure and court lighting layout in accordance with Netball Australia and Tennis Australia guidelines.
Two hardstand tennis courts in accordance with Tennis Australia guidelines.
Street and Drainage design
Traffic management solutions including vehicular access and proposed car parking areas in accordance with Austroads guidelines.
