With constant improvements required to the public transport system within Victoria, PTV are required to ensure that existing PTV bus infrastructures meet Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) standards and include the design and construction of road related infrastructure, bus stop indents and hard stands, Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSI), connecting paths as well as other design features. As such PTV are continually upgrading existing infrastructure to meet the required standards.

HEC have been one of PTV's design consultants providing site investigation, feature survey and design related works to facilitate the upgrade of PTV infrastructure.
